Training & Placement Portal

The T&P module gives students access to placement drives, aptitude tests, training programs, and a comprehensive placement profile — all in one portal.

1. Placement Drives

A list of all placement drives (company visits) posted by the T&P Cell, with eligibility checking built in.

1.1 Drive Card Information

• Company Name and logo (if uploaded)
• Role / Package — Job title and offered CTC/stipend
• Drive Date — When the company visits campus
• Application Deadline — Last date to register interest
• Eligibility Criteria — Minimum percentage, eligible branches/years, backlogs allowed (yes/no)
• Eligibility Status:
  • ✅ Eligible — Student meets all criteria. "Apply Now" button shown.
  • ❌ Not Eligible — Criteria not met. Reason shown (e.g., "Minimum 60% required; your aggregate is 55%").

1.2 Applying for a Drive

• One-click application. Student confirms their placement profile data before submitting.
• Application recorded with timestamp. The T&P Cell sees the student's application in their dashboard.
• Cannot withdraw after the application deadline.

2. My Applications

• Drive Name, application date, and current status.
• Status Pipeline: Applied → Shortlisted → Interview Scheduled → Selected / Not Selected.
• Status is updated by the T&P Cell as the process progresses — students are notified via the messaging system.

3. Aptitude Tests

Practice and company-specific aptitude tests for placement preparation.

• Practice Tests: Quantitative, Verbal, Logical Reasoning — students can attempt these unlimited times for practice.
• Company Tests: Aptitude tests mandated by a specific company as part of their drive selection process — appears here with a deadline.
• Sectional Analysis: After each attempt, a breakdown shows performance by topic area (e.g., "Speed & Distance: 60%, Probability: 40%").
• Attempt History: Each previous attempt shows score and date — students can track improvement over time.

4. Training Programs

Skill development and training sessions organized by the T&P Cell.

• Program Card: Title, description, trainer name, duration, mode (online/offline), and date/time.
• Register: Students register their interest. Seat count is shown (e.g., "12 of 30 seats filled").
• My Registrations: A tab showing all training programs the student is enrolled in, with attendance/completion status.

5. Placement Profile

A comprehensive placement-specific profile separate from the academic profile — shared with companies during drives.

• Academic Details: 10th, 12th, and college CGPA — auto-synced from the marks module.
• Skills: Technical skills, programming languages, frameworks — student enters manually.
• Projects: Add projects with title, technology stack, and description.
• Certifications: Upload certificates (Google, Microsoft, Coursera, etc.).
• Achievements: Co-curricular and extra-curricular achievements linked from the achievements module.
• Job Preferences: Preferred role, location, and industry.
• Resume Upload: Upload a PDF resume that the T&P Cell can forward to companies.
• Profile Completeness Bar: A percentage bar showing how complete the placement profile is — encouraging students to fill all fields.
